Spending hours in the kitchen can be exhausting, let's face it, sometimes patience can be a challenge when your tummy keeps grumbling.

Some are such easy one dish meals and are such simple quick dinner recipes that they will become favorites.

For example, try Hoppel Poppel ... my Mutti's favorite way to use up leftovers. It is so good! Actually, it's MORE than good. It's scrumptious!

A very fast meal is Eggs with Mustard Sauce. You're probably thinking what I thought when my sister said that's what we were having for dinner.

"EGGS WITH MUSTARD SAUCE!" was my quiet reaction!

But she was back home from having lived in Germany for a couple of years. I was so surprised. With boiled potatoes, the mustard sauce and several hard boiled eggs cut in half on top, supper was delicious.

Have just some leftover potatoes, a bit of meat or bacon, and some eggs? Make some Hoppel Poppel. Not only is it a great name to use for the kids, but kids of all ages love it. 'Twas my favorite lunch to come home to from school and it also makes a great supper.

Here's my granddaughter Lydia's pork schnitzel made quickly and conveniently in the air fryer. This one can be done in only 20 minutes!

A German classic made modern! Air fryers are gaining popularity every day, and after using them myself, I can see why. You'll love using yours to make this lecker recipe. Crispy, flavorful, and traditional, what's not to love!
