Having 30 minute meal recipes in your recipe file helps end the dinnertime frazzles. These are quick meals recipes can already be used for tonight.
Many of the items needed are staples you already have in your cupboard or freezer. Some are such easy one dish meals and are such simple quick dinner recipes that they will become favorites.
For example, try Hoppel Poppel ... my Mutti's favorite way to use up leftovers. It is so good! Actually, it's MORE than good. It's scrumptious!
A very fast meal is Eggs with Mustard Sauce. You're probably thinking what I thought when my sister said that's what we were having for dinner.
"EGGS WITH MUSTARD SAUCE!" was my quiet reaction! But she was back home from having lived in Germany for a couple of years. I was so surprised. With boiled potatoes, the mustard sauce and several hard boiled eggs cut in half on top, supper was delicious.
Have just some leftover potatoes, a bit of meat or bacon, and some eggs? Make some Hoppel Poppel. Not only is it a great name to use for the kids, but kids of all ages love it. 'Twas my favourite lunch to come home to from school and it also makes a great supper.
Look through these easy and fast dinner recipes and make sure you stock up on staples for future use. While you are at it, why not send in Your Favorite Recipe and share it with us?
