Yummly and Just like Oma

➤ by Oma Gerhild Fulson

Haven't heard of Yummly yet?

Well, I've started adding YUMS to all the recipes (a work in progress since I need to each one individually!).

Yummly is considered the ultimate cooking tool. It's a place to save and share your favorite recipes to your own recipe box (just like our old file box recipe card systems!) Then, it lets you connect with Facebook to share the best ones with your friends.

YummlyThis is what my Recipe Box looks like. It keeps changing as I keep adding my recipes to it.

Above is my "Recipe Box" ... ready to share with everyone. Check it out here!

With their Add Your Recipe tool, you can keep every recipe you love (especially mine!) on file. You can also add any recipe from your other favorite blogs and websites to your own personal recipe box.

There's are great search filters to help you find perfect recipes by holiday, cuisine, taste, diet, nutrition, cook time, technique, and more.

Why not give Yummly a try. I think you'll like it

And ... don't forget to join my Kaffeeklatsch ...

* Kaffeeklatsch:  /ˈkafeːˌklatsh / (noun) an informal gathering for coffee, cake, and chatting

Join my Kaffeeklatsch ... come for coffee and let's chat about German food and all things German! I'll send you a monthly email ... your way of joining in!

  • Learn about the states and regions of Germany, its places, people, language, Recipes and MORE!
  • Special recipes, that aren't on the website, but just for you!
