Oma’s Comfort Foods give one the feeling that “all’s good with the world”, a feeling that is needed in difficult times like these. Take a look in the description below to see the favorites that are included.
Cooking and baking have taken on a renewed interest for many. For some, it’s become a passion to re-create those long-forgotten comfort foods for that ‘all’s good with the world’ feeling.
With that in mind, I’ve put together favorite easy comfort foods, many that remind me of sitting around the table with Mutti and Papa when I was a child. Some are ones that brought comfort to our boys when they were young. Others are fan favorites from my private Facebook group of German foodies, Kaffeeklatschers.
There aren’t any fancy methods or difficult procedures. Just follow the steps, one at a time, and you’ll soon be serving comfort that bring “oohs” and “aahs”.
Since this eCookbook is immediately downloadable, you'll be able to start cooking right away! This is a PDF digital file. No physical item will be shipped or mailed.
Many German recipes use ingredients only available in Germany. Since I don't live in Germany, having access to these isn’t always easy. So, I experimented with my Mutti’s recipes (many came from her hand-written notes) and made them with ingredients easily purchased at my local grocery store.
