Classic Chicken Vegetable Soup Recipe – Oma's Hühner-Gemüsesuppe
My chicken vegetable soup recipe, aka Hühner-Gemüsesuppe, is great when you're looking for easy dinner menu ideas. Use your own stock or buy some.
Either way, it'll be ready in no time at all! Comforting deliciousness in a bowl. Add some fresh crusty bread to dunk into the broth and dinner is ready.

Ingredients:

2 celery ribs, sliced

2 carrots, sliced

1 onion, diced
-
1 large potato, peeled and
diced

1 cup (113 grams) chopped
cauliflower
- 5 cups (1.2 liters) chicken broth (homemade or purchased)

1 - 1½ cups (38-57 grams)
egg noodles
-
1 - 2 cups (150-300 grams)
diced cooked chicken

salt and freshly ground
black pepper, to taste

MAGGI liquid seasoning,
to taste

VEGETA food seasoning,
to taste

chopped fresh parsley,
to garnish
Instructions:

Place the vegetables and the broth in a large pot and bring
to a boil.

Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the vegetables are
almost tender, about 15 minutes.

Add the egg noodles and simmer for another 8 to 10
minutes, until the noodles are tender.

Add the chicken to the soup.

Season with salt, pepper, MAGGI, and VEGETA.

Serve the soup garnished with parsley.
Notes/Hints:
- Add more broth or water if you prefer your soup thinner.
- Add some curry powder.
