- 1¾ cups (398 grams) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups (400 grams) granulated sugar
- 2 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon (5 grams) salt
- 4 teaspoon (16 grams) baking powder
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) flavoring (vanilla or almond, etc.)
- 1 cup (170 grams) chocolate chips (and/or nuts, raisins, etc.)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
- Put the oats into a large mixing bowl. Add the melted butter and stir. Add the sugar and mix.
- Mix the flour, salt, and baking powder together in a separate bowl and stir into the oat mixture.
- In another bowl, mix the eggs and flavoring together and stir into the oat mixture along with the chips and/or nuts/raisins.
- Using a small cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop the dough onto cookie sheets and flatten slightly, leaving 2 inches between cookies. You will need to reuse the cookie sheets to do all the cookies. Let the sheets cool before reusing.
