Karalewski Torte

This Karalewski Torte has a base of sour cream,sugar, flour, egg, baking powder
do this 4 times but put in one: poppy seed
the other:raisins
the other:walnuts
the other:cocoa
bake all 4 cakes then layer it with icing:
sour cream
whipping cream
sugar
dream whip



I don't know the measurements.
Can you help?

Hi Rebecca,

This cake has me stumped. But perhaps one of our other readers may recognize it. In the meantime, I'll research through my cookbooks. As well I'll check among my German contacts and see if someone there knows this.

Do you know for sure if this is German? If it is, do you know which part of Germany it's from? Any further information would be a great help.
